Once you have sent your enquiry, I will email your quote within 24 hours. It confirms all the details provided — the date, times, contact details and locations for the wedding day and trial — together with a full breakdown of everyone requiring hair or makeup, the total cost and any travel expenses.

From receipt of the quote, your date is provisionally reserved for 14 days. To secure it, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking is payable by bank transfer within those 14 days; after this the date is released and may be offered to another client.

Please check every detail on the quote is correct before paying. Once your payment is received you will get a confirmation email, and I will be in touch to arrange your trial and talk through ideas.

Bridal bookings are subject to a minimum spend of £300. As a guide, bridal hair or makeup on the wedding day is £100 each, a bridal trial £70, bridesmaids £80 each on the day (£60 for a trial), and special occasion makeup starts from £80.

All payments are made by bank transfer. The deposit is due within 14 days of your quote, trial payments at least one week before the trial, and the final balance no later than 8 weeks before the wedding day. If the balance is not received within the stated time, the booking will be cancelled.

Trial payments are non-refundable. Any parking fees at your locations are payable on the day.

The first 50 miles of travel from my base are complimentary. Beyond this, mileage is charged at 45p per mile — including the return journey, for both the trial and the wedding day — and added to your final balance. Parking and congestion charges are passed on at cost.

Start times before 7:00 am may incur a small additional fee, which will always be agreed with you in advance.

Cancellations of part or all of a booking can be made at any time in writing. The following applies from the date I am notified: 60 days or more before the wedding, only the deposit is retained; 46–59 days before, 25% of the total cost is payable; 29–45 days, 50%; 15–28 days, 75%; and within 14 days of the wedding, the full cost remains payable. The same scale applies to reductions in numbers.

If you cancel after your trial because you are unhappy with the service, your deposit will be refunded provided you let me know within 7 days of the trial; after this time no refund is given. Trial payments are non-refundable once the trial has been carried out.

In the unlikely event that I must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of everything paid, and I will always try to find a reliable replacement artist for you immediately.

Any changes to your booking — adding or removing people, or changing locations or times — should be confirmed in writing so I can update your details. Extra people can often be added later if time allows on the day, though this cannot be guaranteed, and a change of location may affect travel expenses.

If you need to postpone the wedding to a new date and notice falls within the cancellation periods above, cancellation fees will apply.

I will contact you around 12–16 weeks before the wedding to arrange your trial, ideally held 8–10 weeks before the day — by then your colour schemes, themes and dresses are usually decided, so your look can be styled accordingly. If you would like an earlier trial to coincide with a hen night or dress fitting, please get in touch as soon as you have a date in mind; availability cannot be guaranteed in peak months.

Your trial takes place at the location of your choice, with payment due one week beforehand. Please allow at least 1.5 hours for a bridal trial and 1 hour for bridesmaids, mothers or other members of the party. Trials for the wedding party are recommended for complete peace of mind, though they are not compulsory.

The trial includes a full consultation covering skin type, allergies, current products, and your likes and dislikes. It helps to bring any inspiration pictures, accessories, veils or hairpieces, and to have your hair cut and coloured beforehand so it behaves the same on the day. I will stay as long as it takes to perfect your chosen look — please tell me during the trial if anything isn't quite right so it can be adjusted there and then.

If a trial is cancelled a second time, the trial fee becomes payable again and the trial will not be rebooked without payment upfront.

Please always tell me about anything that may affect the use of my products or equipment — including sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. Patch tests are available on request and I am happy to arrange one for peace of mind.

I cannot be held liable for any losses incurred where a known condition was not disclosed in advance.

I will be in touch one week before the wedding to confirm the final details, and will arrive at the agreed time. I usually aim to have everyone finished one hour before the ceremony — if you would like longer, please say so at the time of booking, as I cannot guarantee a change to the finish time later due to other commitments. If the schedule is delayed from within the bridal party, I will do my best to keep everything on time, though this cannot be guaranteed.

If you eat or drink after your makeup is finished, a top-up will be done at the end. Please confirm you are completely happy with your hair and makeup before I leave, so any adjustments can be made — no compensation is offered after this time.

I reserve the right to refuse service in the event of abusive or threatening behaviour.

At your trial you will be asked whether you are happy for before-and-after pictures to be taken; these may be shared on my website and social media to show prospective clients my work, but only ever with your permission. Reference pictures of your chosen look may still be taken for the wedding day — these are never shared without your consent.

I use professional-grade products and maintain hygienic practices at all times, with my kit cleaned and sanitised between every client. Where any liability arises, it is limited to the value of the fees paid for the booking.
